Lao Yao Yao @ Parkway Centre

Sis is working from home today so we went to try out a new place at Parkway Centre. This is at the ground level of the centre where the McDonald's and Subway fastfood joints are. Just last year, this was a Korean eatery. We actually frequented there quite often when the sis was working from home everyday. Then they left and it was replaced by Chinese lamian/xiaolongbao. It was really expensive compared to the same Chinese lamian food at the market and coffee shop nearby so we never tried. And now, it has transformed to a place selling chicken pot and mee suah.

We got the small Chicken Pot - chicken, Chinese cabbage, kelp, enoki, and beancurd -($12.90) with rice ($1.00) and side dish of Cold Cucumber ($2.00). We also got their Homemade Lime Juice drink ($1.80 each).

2 metal cups of lime juice

Overall, I give this 3 Aunty Karens. The chicken pot was a bit salty. The chicken were also very small chunks and there were small sharp bones. The cucumbers were nice and crunchy. I might return to try their mee suah.

3 out of 5 stars on the Aunty Karen scale
