We, the younger sis and I, went out hunting for food around the 'hood again. So today, Google Map's suggestion for all-day brunch nearby turned up Group Therapy Coffee at Katong V.
We came here way way back that we have forgotten that we had been here. The atmosphere is still the same, very chilled. I think the whole Katong V has a very relaxed feel, as it should... it is Katong after all.
I ordered the Salmon Mentaiko Bowl with brown rice ($22) and the sis ordered the Wagyu Ribeye Steak Bowl with brown rice ($21), and for coffee, she got Caramel Cappuccino ($5.50) and I got the Roasted Almond Latte ($5.50).
For the bowls, besides the proteins, each had brown rice, roasted vegetables, avocado, poached egg, and edamame in them. They were delicious. Although the bowls look small, the meal was filling. Really appreciate that they gave an actual half an avocado. Not stingy at all.
I give this 4.5 Aunty Karens. This may be the hidden gem of Katong V.
