NBCB @ i12 Katong

Another WFH day for the younger sis. Today, the niece is with us as her mom was teaching. So we went out for lunch together. We decided to try NBCB @ i12 Katong. NBCB is short for Nothing But Cheese Burgers. Their menu items also have interesting names and acronyms.

Aerial view of 3 burgers from NBCB @ i12 Katong

We ordered the HAHA (Shrimp Paste Boneless Chicken, Brioche Bun, Lettuce, Secret Sauce; $10.90), NCBC (Beef Patty, Brioche Bun, Lettuce, Tomato, Natural Cheddar Cheese, secret sauce; $11.90), and WTF (Fried Fish Slices, Natural Cheddar Cheese, Brioche Bun, House Tartar; $9.90). We upsized 2 of them to meals for $4 each and got the fries and onion rings and 2 soft drinks.

HAHA - Shrimp Paste Boneless Chicken, Brioche Bun, Lettuce, Secret Sauce NCBC - Beef Patty, Brioche Bun, Lettuce, Tomato, Natural Cheddar Cheese, secret sauce

WTF - Fried Fish Slices, Natural Cheddar Cheese, Brioche Bun, House Tartar

The beef was smoky and you could taste that it was flame-grilled. The shrimp paste for the chicken in HAHA was aromatic. But, I think it is too generic and too expensive. The chicken burger is not better than the one from Wildfire Burger (reviewed here), and the regular burger is not better than Aston's ieat Super Burger (reviewed here).

I give this 3 Aunty Karens. I. don't think I will return. There are other options for good food in this area.

3 out of 5 stars on the Aunty Karen scale
